Psalm 91 – Abiding in God’s Protection (Part 2)
In Part 2 of our Psalm 91 series, we continue exploring what it means to dwell in the secret place of the Most High. David’s revelation of God’s protection wasn’t just for his life—it’s a truth we can walk in today. When we choose to abide in Him, we exchange fear for faith and rest under the shadow of His wings.
Psalm 91:4 reminds us that God covers us like a mother bird—providing safety, comfort, and defense. His truth becomes our shield and buckler, protecting us from every threat. We are commanded not to be afraid—whether of terror by night or the arrows that fly by day. These represent both spiritual attacks and real-world challenges, including fear, violence, betrayal, and hurtful words.
The key to victory is unwavering trust in God’s promises. When fear creeps in, it signals we may be drifting from that place of abiding. But through faith, we quench every fiery dart of the enemy and find peace, even in the darkest night.
